Bright Pants, Can't Lose

Real talk, guys: this week was rough. One really terrible thing branched off into a bunch of bad things, (isn't that how it always happens?) leaving me feeling pretty down in the dumps. But you know, we made it through. There's always the promise the weekend, and a Friday to kick it off. Red pants also help.

Other notes on this outfit: been wearing my new booties pretty much every day. I've been happily by my sister Carina's side as she's slowly weeded out the Forever 21 from her closet.  Love it or hate it, I've gotten a few blouses I love, that I don't necessarily think "look" Forever 21.

Thanks to my work friend Hillary, for taking these pics!

I think that's all I've got. Have a fabulous weekend, friends, I am looking forward to sleeping, eating, and seeing some friends. Thanks for stopping by.

F21 hits it out of the park sometimes with quality looking garments that are super versatile. I love this top with the red pants and booties. It has that dual season feel to it.

I agree bright pants cant loose, especially when combined with a pretty white tee :)

That top is so pretty! I would never have guessed it was F21. I feel like you just never know with brands; I try not to pay too much attention to them when I'm buying for my own wardrobe (vs. buying for resale) because some brands will surprise you! True confession, I have a Coldwater Creek dress and cardigan that I absolutely love. And I still get compliments on some of my Walmart clothes that I've had for over a decade!

Nothing wrong with Coldwater Creek! I know they make high-quality stuff, and that boho/earthy look is so hot right now! Thanks Emily.

I used to be scared to wear bright pants, but now I have more pairs than I can count. Red looks amazing on you!
